Senior Citizens Organization, Inc. dba Senior Citizens Activity Center serves all of Hamilton County including Arcadia, Carmel, Cicero, Fishers, Noblesville, Sheridan, Westfield and surrounding communities. ~ Fund Raising Efforts for our Senior Citizens Organization Inc ~
Our Senior Citizens Organization Inc. (SCOI) dba Senior Citizens Activity Center was the first group in the Noblesville area dedicated to senior citizens as its primary focus.  We and our predecessors built the center with our own money, blood, sweat and tears and have kept it going with the support of our members, sponsors and the community for over 40 years.

Now we are in the position of attempting to find a new location for our senior center.

We seniors comprise approximately 30% of the population (highest in history).  In fact, we are almost as large a group as school children and their parents.  Since schools receive at least 50% of tax dollar money, tax paying seniors should receive a portion of dedicated tax funds to ensure our mental stimulation, physical and social needs are met.  It is a well known fact that seniors who stay engaged in social activities with their peers remain mentally and physically healthier.  The center provides a vital service to seniors in the community.

We would appreciate any efforts from our members and members of the community to influence our local government representatives to consider the Senior Citizens Center in the appropriation of future tax dollars.  Please consider writing or speaking with government officials.

Thank you in advance for your support and efforts.

~ Monthly Birthday Party ~
The next Senior Activity Center's monthly Birthday Luncheon will be on October 19, 2024 - 11:30. Spaghetti with sauce will be served for the dinner with entertainment by Irish dancers. Please sign up if you plan to attend.

~ Day Pass Membership ~
If you are visiting family/friends in the area or you would just like to try us out, you may purchase a Day Pass Membership for $4.00 from the receptionist on the day you want to participate in our activities. If you have questions you may click here or call the receptionist at 317-773-6904.

We also offer a Party Pass for $5 per event that occurs outside of our normal day of activities. This would include the Birthday Luncheon on the 3rd Saturday of the month, our New Years Eve party, and any other party we offer.

~ NEW CLOSING NOTIFICATION ~
We are entering tornado season. If a serious storm hits our area and the Noblesville schools are closed or delayed due to bad weather, the SCOI will follow those directives.
Note: The exercise group will not meet when the schools are delayed.
