Senior citizens exposed to large amounts of asbestos when they were younger, usually while on the job or in the military, are at an increased risk of developing mesothelioma cancer. Contact the mesothelioma attorneys at Mesothelioma Lawyer Center to see about your legal options if you or a loved one has been diagnosed with mesothelioma.

Posted on Aug 26th, 2014
The Hamilton County Society for the Disabled loans a variety of medical equipment to residents of Hamilton County at no charge. If you have durable medical equipment in good condition that can be picked up by one person and placed in a car we would appreciate having it donated to us to loan to others. In other words, we will become your closet, basement, garage, or attic! Thank you for considering us.

~ Recycling Center ~
Our Recycling Center is closing on December 15, 2015! We appreciate everyone who has gone out of their way to bring materials to us be recycled. For many years the money made from recycling benefited our organization. However, in recent years with the advent of curbside recycling and the glut of materials available to the buyers we are no longer making enough money to make this a worthwhile project. We will accept your cardboard, newspapers, glass, aluminum cans and other metal cans until December 15th. After that date we will be cleaning up the area and loading the semi-trailers for the last loads to leave here. Again we want to thank everyone for their support since the late 1970's. If you have any comments or questions please email us. Thank you.
Our Recycling Center is located at the rear of our property at 18336 Cumberland Road, Noblesville, IN 46060. The Recycling Center is open 24/7 for your convenience. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Department patrols the premises since we are located next door to their offices and jail.
We do not accept plastics of any kind! Please place them in your curbside recycling, personal trash or take them to be recycled behind the Hamilton County Hazardous Waste Center.
We accept:
Cardboard (corrugated, food boxes, shoe boxes, etc.)
Please flatten large boxes for more to fit in the wire containers. Thank you.
Paper (newspapers, office/school paper, mail, catalogs, phone books, magazines, etc.)
Please help us by placing all paper into brown paper grocery sacks and placing in the grocery carts inside the Recycling Center.
Aluminum (beverage cans, pie plates, foil, etc.)
Please remove/rinse as much food from the containers as possible to limit the numbers of "critters" that come to snack.
Food cans (any type of metal)
Labels do not need to be removed, but food should be removed/rinsed from the can to reduce the "aroma".
Glass (except windowpanes and mirrors - whole or broken)
Please remember to sort your glass by color into the appropriate bin or leave it on the table for our volunteers to sort.
Egg Cartons (Styrofoam or paper)
We do not accept paint cans or hazardous materials. These items may be taken to:
The Household Hazardous Waste Center is located immediately west of the Hamilton County Extension and 4-H Fair Grounds at 1717 Pleasant Street.
